Our Approach

Edutainment is our main approach. We entertain and educate audiences throughout Tanzania with our media products, which mirror contemporary youth culture and language.

Real life stories, testimonials, role modelling and docudrama are central to our product content. Our participatory, interactive production process gives VOICE to ordinary people all over Tanzania through recurring media products.

Femina HIP is about communication for behaviour and social change. We believe that HIV/AIDS is more than just a health problem; rather it is a result of – and cause of – broader social problems such as poverty and lack of: citizen engagement, good governance and even entrepreneurship. In addition to awareness and basic knowledge, people lack life skills on how to cope with pressure situations, and how to make decisions in their relationships and wider society. Creating supportive environments and good leadership is therefore fundamental for behaviour and social change.

From Suzan who is in Arusha and a fan of Si Mchezo!'s Betty Liduke
I applaud Betty Liduke for giving good advice to youth and people of all classes. My fellow youth... let's focus our strength on building our nation and being advisors for those with no education about social issues.
Rogatus in Iringa likes what he reads about solar lamps
I'm really interested in those solar lamps mentioned in Si Mchezo! Where are they available?
