Femina HIP Meets Over 3000 Headmasters

TAHOSSA holds annual event in Dar es Salaam

Femina HIP was present in the most recent TAHOSSA (Tanzania Heads of Secondary Schools Association) meeting held in Dar es Salaam from the 2nd to the 4th of December.

TAHOSSA is national non-profit organisation operating at district, regional, zonal and national level, and which brings together headmasters from secondary schools across Tanzania. The association meets annually, and this year met to discuss effective administration and management.

The event took place at a school in Mbezi, and we participated in order to be able to talk with headmasters directly and help them gain a deeper understanding of how Femina  HIP works and what we have to offer the secondary school setting. There were  discussions on how Fema clubs and products such as Fema magazine complement educational material on the curriculum.

Femina HIP led three presentations on: 1) the media platform and methodology, 2) how to  use Fema in the school setting, and 3) money and entrepreneurship (in collaboration with the solar energy company D.Light).
