New Fema Hits The Stands!

Fema kicks off 2010 with a dazzling cover.

If you haven’t seen Fema magazine’s vibrant cover for the current January-March 2010, you are missing out on an eye-catching image of renown Tanzanian poet Mrisho Mpoto. We sat down with Mpoto to talk about his life stories, his art, and his new commitment to exploring the importance of solar energy to improve the lives of Tanzanians. He is the front figure of the ‘Right to Safe Lights’ campaign, a joint effort by Femina and the solar lamp company D.light.

Also in this Fema issue: abortion in Shinyanga, a lifestyles spread on everything youth should know about condoms, and a look at how the ever-growing use of mobile phones has changed the lives of Tanzanians.
