We Are in Tabora!

Femina HIP is currently on the ground in Tabora.

The Community Mobilation team is in Tabora on another trip in the field, meeting with communities and conducting road shows and school visits. The theme for the discussions is “Promoting Entrepreneurship.”

Recently joining them were the Si Mchezo! editors, who hit the road to Tabora to collaborate with Engender Health’s Champion project. The editors are collecting stories and research for the May-June issue which will explore what it means to be a “Champion”, in terms of life skills and male involvement in the prevention of HIV.

We are on the lookout for men in these local communities who are "champions" in how they deal with issues such as high-risk sexual behaviour, gender-based violence and participation in health services.

The March-April issue of Si Mchezo! will be out soon. Keep checking this site for more details.
