The entire week of 24th January will be one full of inspiring activities, lively discussions and knowledge gain for 35 Fema Clubs from around the country. Femina HIP’s annual Youth Conference kicks off on Monday the 24th in Dar es Salaam with the theme “Ruka Juu! Jenga Maisha Yako” (“Jump Up! The Conference will also be the platform for the launch of Ruka Juu, the upcoming special season of Fema TV Talk Show. This reality TV entrepreneurship competition is set to air from early March and will follow and challenge several young small-scale entrepreneurs on the quest to win big cash for their business.

Discussions will include topics such as how Fema Clubs can function as self-reliance clubs, and how schools and students can prepare for self-employment after graduating.

Some activities during the five-day Conference include: workshops, focus groups, presentations and live performances.
