Mind in Motion

By Brian Geoffrey Mfipa of Lupila Secondary School, Njombe

I am Brian Geoffrey Mfipa, a 13-year-old Form One student at Lupila Secondary School in, Njombe region.

When I started reading the Fema magazine, I discovered the “Compete and Win” puzzles and Club challenges on the last pages. I did not even know they existed! Surprised, I decided to give one a try because I believed that stimulating my mind through puzzles could support my studies.

Though I did not win the first time, I was not discouraged, I resolved to keep participating. And I truly believe that one day I will win.

My ongoing participation has sharpened my mind and kept me mentally active, which helped me achieve excellent results in my mid-term exams.

I advise all youth, especially students, to take part in these Fema magazine competitions so their minds stay active just like mine.
