Life Skills are Instrumental in My School Life

I am Edina Biseko, a 16-year-old student studying form four at Lugongo Secondary School in Ukerewe district, Mwanza region. In 2021, I joined the Fema Club, where I learned about entrepreneurship and began poultry farming.
Fema Club has been instrumental in my growth by teaching me valuable life skills and being an entrepreneur. I was inspired by this knowledge shared in the Fema Club and Fema magazine.
I started my poultry project with an initial capital of twenty thousand Tanzanian shillings I got from my parents. I went to buy three chickens one male and two females, where they bred and produced chicks.

I sold two of the chickens for 27,000/= shillings to finance my personal needs like sewing a new skirt (16,000/= shillings) and purchasing books, pair of socks, and snacks at school.
Fema Club has valuable support for my entrepreneurship journey and helped me fulfill my school requirements.
